The Tech Guy Services is operated by The Tech Group Strategies Pty Ltd (ABN 89 681 519 602), registered for GST.
An on-site visit is $160/hr inc GST, with a one-hour minimum; after the first hour, time is counted in 15-minute steps at the same rate ($40 inc GST per step). A weekend or Queensland public holiday visit adds the $160 surcharge once per visit, never per hour, making the first hour $320 inc GST. Online support is $80 inc GST for 30 minutes or $160 inc GST for 60 minutes. Business work is $160 + GST per hour, quoted before it starts. There is no call-out fee between Noosa and Caloundra.
Every price is shown on the booking before you choose a time. If a visit needs longer than the first hour, we tell you before the hour is up and you decide.
Online support sessions are paid when you book, by card through Stripe. Visits are paid after the appointment. Business plans and defined work are invoiced under their own agreement.
You can change or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment, using the link in your booking confirmation. You receive written confirmation once a change is settled.
We stop and book a visit instead. You are not charged for both.
Where a device needs repair, a technology facilitator collects it during a visit and either performs the repair, where they are qualified for that specific repair, or takes it personally to one of our repair partners. The facilitator who collected the device is accountable for the completion and quality of the repair and for any follow-up required. Every repair is quoted separately, and no repair work starts until you accept the quote. Repair timeframes are on a best-effort basis, subject to parts and labour availability, and are stated with each quote. The visit itself is charged at the published rate.
The person receiving support decides what happens in their home. We confirm the appointment with them before it goes ahead; if they would rather not, nothing happens and the arranger is not charged.
