Who this is for

People whose machine has got slow, or is old enough that repairs stop making sense, or who’ve been told it can’t run Windows 11. Also people who’ve just bought something and would rather not spend a weekend moving photographs across.

Windows 10 stopped being supported in October 2025. If you haven’t enrolled in Microsoft’s extended security program, that computer is getting no security updates right now, and the program itself ends in October 2027. That’s the situation today, not a deadline we invented. What decides it is whether your machine can run Windows 11: some can, some can’t. Questions

My computer still runs Windows 10. Do I have to replace it?

Not necessarily. Support ended in October 2025 and the extended security program runs to October 2027. What matters is whether your machine can run Windows 11 — some can, some can’t. Tell us the make and model and we’ll tell you which, at no cost. About half the time the answer keeps your money in your pocket.

Will I lose my photos and my email?

No. Everything that was on the old one is on the new one, or we keep working until it is. Files, photographs, email, bookmarks, the printer and the Wi-Fi.

Will you sell me more computer than I need?

No, and there’s a written rule about it. If you use your computer for email, banking and photographs, you won’t be quoted a graphics card. When a machine has a few years left in it, we say so.
